An unparalleled reality, Cusumano has managed in a little more than ten years to establish itself as one of the most important wineries in all of Sicily and more generally in the whole of southern Italy. Over five hundred hectares of vineyards are distributed in very different geographical areas, from Ficuzza in Palermo to San Giacomo not far from Caltanissetta, from Monte Pietroso to Alta Mora along the slopes of Etna, from Monreale to Pachino, with the latter where you meet the headquarters that serves as the operational hub of the whole company. This is the starting point, from which we begin to get a particularly heterogeneous, elegant, highly territorial and strongly identifying product line of the area of origin. The entire production process is in fact aimed at maintaining unchanged those unique characteristics that only Sicily is able to offer, both between the rows and in the cellar, with the utmost respect for the raw material, without forcing and without altering what nature has created. From 2000, the year of the foundation of the company - and now, with a production that comes to an average of two and a half million bottles per year, one of the brothers Diego and Alberto Cusumano is probably the winery, which, with the start of the new millennium, more than any other is met with a rapid and consistent growth. And so here we find ourselves in front of the” Sàgana “or the” Benuara“, or holding a glass of” Noa“,” Angimbé “or”Jalé". Wines, the ones that lead back to the name “Cusumano”, capable of conveying a great love for their land, whether of the most typical Nero d'avola or Insolia, or whether it labels the daughters of variety is not so traditionally rooted in the territory, such as Merlot, Syrah and Chardonnay.
