DESCRIPTION: Baron de Sigognac's Bas Armagnac was born in the French province of Gascogne, in the heart of the Bas Armagnac AOC. The wine made from Ugny-Blanc and Bacchus grapes is distilled in the "continuous heating" still designed specifically for making armagnac. This is followed by aging in French oak barrels, which give it tannins and the characteristic aromatic complement.
