The Distilleries Bagnoli was born in 1954, when dr. Dino Bagnoli, son of the air force Military Emo Bagnoli, and his wife Targa Ilva Zita daughter of Mario, well-known entrepreneur in the wine industry, they decide to move from Polesine to Stanghella, a small town in the province of Padua, following the flooding of the Po river in 1951. In Stanghella, the young spouses begin the distillation of grappa in their own distillery, which gradually begins to grow and become known. The opening of a small laboratory in Noventa Padovana (PD) and the subsequent transfer in 1982 to the stanghella plant, renovated and expanded, which is still the headquarters of the company, represented decisive steps towards the realization of the ambitious project. Always attentive to new trends, the Bagnoli company decided to expand its production, immediately obtaining promising results: aiming at the "entertainment market”, grappa was flanked by a complete line of distillates, liqueurs, syrups and fruit semi-finished products. In this new project, the company assimilated and consolidated some guiding principles, which will later become fundamental and indispensable values, among which "quality first of all". If at the beginning it seemed like the path more difficult and challenging, proceed according to the traditional criteria was subsequently a winning choice: the selection, careful, almost obsessive, of the raw materials, the method of preparation is linked to the tradition, the direct use of aromatic and medicinal herbs, became the strengths that have allowed the Team to not only grow and expand, but to become in a few years an important reality in the panorama liqueur international.
