The Francoli family is a true dynasty of Grappa in Ghemme, in the province of Novara. It all began in the Nineteenth century by the passion of Louis William Francoli that, in the premises of the sawmill of the father, he liked to distilling grape pomace and become known as a skilled distiller; the Francoli become distillers professionals only at the beginning of the Twentieth century, but carried out the qualitative dates back to the ’50s, when Luigi creates a brand is intended to make the history of the superior quality, specializing in aging and in aging. Today the Francoli distilleries are led by Alessandro, who coordinates 50 employees and has adopted a production philosophy aimed at respecting the environment. Adhering to the project Zero Impact of the Life Gate, Alessandro Francoli has opened a management pioneer and virtuoso of the production process: the heat sources are obtained from fuels plant, the carbon dioxide emissions are offset by new riforestazioni, the skins are dried in order to avoid waste and the amount not used for the distillation are then transformed into pellets or oil for domestic use, the water used to cool the vapors of alcohol is recovered, cooled and fed back into the circuit in order to avoid waste, the energy demand is based on a system of photovoltaic panels. Francoli grappas and liqueurs are distinguished by an elegant and refined style and a great aromatic cleanliness. Francoli is today a family signature that has become synonymous with excellence and quality, the signature of an important range of grappas rich in charm, to know but above all to taste.
