GIN LUZ LONDON DRY CL.70 MARZADRO

Luz Gin London Dry is a recipe by bartender Leonardo Veronesi, who has been working with Distilleria Marzadro for 7 years. Luz Gin London Dry is produced using Luz Gin Distilled as the alcohol base and made with 9 botanicals of Trentino origin: lemon, juniper, woodruff, olive, mint, bay leaf, rosemary, clary sage and sage. Maceration is carried out at an alcohol content of 65% and is done in 2 different stages. Juniper macerates for 20 days, while the rest of the botanicals macerate for 48 hours; the 2 macerations are then combined in the still, adding lemon peels. Distillation takes place in a 1000-liter discontinuous still at Bagno Maria, and the alcohol content is reduced to 45% vol. with spring water from Monte Stivo. Finally it is bottled without cold filtration. The nose has a distinct hint of juniper, with citrus notes, with good persistence and intensity.
