Description: Chartreuse Elixir Vegetal produced at the Grande Chartreuse Monastery is a vegetable elixir made from 130 medicinal and aromatic herbs. Produced since 1764 by the Carthusian monks of the monastery following the ancient and secret recipe handed down from the Duc d'Estrées' 1605 manuscript, the elixir is excellent to take in cases of fatigue and weakness, to aid digestion and to get in shape.
