Description: Hakushu Distiller's Reserve represents the best of Suntory's Japanese distillery's whisky craftsmanship. It is a "no age statement" whisky, composed of several single malts: young with light peat (at least 8 years of aging) and very peated and non-peated single malts, aged for about 18 years. All the casks that make up Hakushu Distiller's Reserve were carefully selected by Shinji Fukuyo, Suntory's Master Blender. The result is a classy, complex and deeply enjoyable Japanese whiskey.
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Straw yellow.
Nose: Delicate and floral nose with notes of green apples, mint, vanilla, melon and hints of freshly cut grass.
Palate: Creamy with notes of spice, licorice, mint and citrus with hints of pine needles and light smoke.
