TASTING NOTES.

Color: Amber with orange reflection

Nose: Rather delicate, with effluvia of vanilla and toffee blending well with the notes of PX sherry and muscat wine emanating over time. Plenty of raisins appear sharply, followed by ripe plums and dried figs. Overall very fruity, but with more dried than fresh fruit

Palate: Very light-bodied, also aided by the low alcohol content, again lets dried fruit emerge at its peak, with raisins and prunes, plus a hint of candied orange. There is a slight glimpse of caramel, alongside the aforementioned vanilla

DESCRIPTION: It is aged 12 years: 9 years in Tio Pepe barrels and another 3 in barrels that have previously contained Matusalem. A somewhat unusual brandy that does not impress with power or intensity, but plays on interesting aromatic contrasts. It is delicate and drinkable but certainly not easy to understand
