Vinification: Gaja's Sito Moresco is made from carefully selected grapes harvested by hand at the moment of their perfect ripeness. The bunches, brought to the winery, are destemmed and gently crushed and then undergo alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with frequent pumping over and a maceration on the skins of a few weeks. This is followed by racking with pressing of the skins, after which the wine is aged for at least 12 months in stainless steel containers before being bottled and continuing its maturation in the bottle for a few months before final release
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Ruby red
Bouquet: Fruity notes reminiscent of small red fruits belong to it, and it is enhanced by light herbaceous aromas
Taste: In tasting it is harmonious and elegant, with fine tannins and a persistence that is still fruity
PAIRINGS: Accompanies menus of earthy cuisine. Good with pasta with meat sauce
