Description: Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky "Distiller's Edition" 2021 from Dalwhinnie Distillery in Scotland is distinguished by its elegant balance of richness, sweetness and fine spice. Distilled in 2006, this Single Malt is bottled only in 2021, after a long aging in oak casks and a finish in high quality former Oloroso Sherry casks. Produced in a limited edition and quantity, the "Distiller's Edition" offers a rich, spicy sip with a complex and refined style. To be served neat or with a few drops of natural water to enhance its fruity notes, this Single Malt offers delightful moments of relaxation at all times of the day.
Distillers Editions are Single Malts that undergo a special maturation process. Each, in fact, after spending the normal aging period in American oak barrels, undergoes a second (or "double") maturation in a barrel that has previously contained a fortified wine. The duration of this second maturation depends on when the distillate's aroma is fully developed; generally between 6 and 12 months
