Description: Lagavulin 8 Years is a Single Malt Whisky that perfectly represents the style of the distillery, which is based along the south coast of the famous island of Islay, near Port Ellen. Before being bottled, the distillate matures for 8 years in American and European oak barrels, which contribute to the smoothness and richness of the bouquet
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Intense straw yellow
Nose: The bouquet expresses iodine notes and typical peaty hints, rising on an undercurrent of citrus aromas, soft spices and pastries
Palate: It has good body on the palate, with a decidedly marine and smoky sip, which relaxes on softer notes reminiscent of dried fruit, vanilla and a delicate, pleasantly harmonious fruitiness. The finish is persistent, with the characteristic savory sensations of the island
