Color: Brilliant ruby red.
Nose: Well pronounced and complex, with distinct hints of berries in perfect harmony with sweet balsamic notes and spicy aromas.
Taste: The flavor is full, warm, soft, very enveloping, with sweet and elegant tannins.
PAIRINGS: Suitable on roasted red meats, game, goat and medium-aged cheeses.
FRUITY: To be served at 18°C.
VINIFICATION: Made purely from Primitivo grapes grown in the warm, sunny vineyards around the Castello Monaci winery, it matures 6 months in small oak barrels and 6 months in large barrels. It is then aged 6 months in bottle.
