TASTING NOTES.
Color: Bright and consistent garnet
Nose: A potpourri of red flowers, then cherries and black cherries, berries, aromas of fern and camphor mingle with darker notes of loam and roots, licorice and fine spices
Taste: The palate shows sweet notes of wild cherries and delicate herbs, a voluptuous body and a harmonious, integrated tannic fabric. High aging potential
PAIRINGS: Accompanies menus of earthy cuisine. Good with pasta with meat sauce
FRUITY: Serve at 16°C
WINE-MAKING: The Conteisa vineyard is located in Cerequio, in the commune of La Morra. The soil denotes a high presence of sand and clay-limestone marls, has an area of 6 hectares, southern exposure and an average altitude of 380 m above sea level. The vines have an average age of 60 years. Fermentation and maceration for about three weeks followed by aging in wood for 30 months
