TASTING NOTES.
Color: Very intense dark red
Nose: The aromas on the nose are varied: starting with notes of blackberry and red fruits and moving on to more peppery and tobacco scents, with slight nuances of vanilla and dried rose
Taste: The mouthfeel is medium-bodied, well-balanced and smooth, with remarkable freshness. Closes with a lingering finish
PAIRINGS: For the whole meal, COS's Cerasuolo di Vittoria is a red wine that pairs well with meat dishes, perhaps enhanced with spices or mushroom-based sauces
FRUITability: Serve at 16/18°C
WINE MAKING: Frappato and Nero d'Avola, two of the most important red grapes in all of Sicily, meet only in a wine produced in the Vittoria area and characterized by a great Mediterranean impetus: Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG. COS's interpretation stands out for its elegance and generosity. It is a wine aged in oak barrels and in cement tanks for at least two years after the harvest, already very good, but at the same time capable of defying the years if well preserved in the cellar
