TASTING NOTES.
Color: Intense ruby red
Nose: On the nose hints of red fruits such as plums and cherries with notes of violet and geranium in the young wines, to tertiary nuances in the aged wines, with hints of coffee and tobacco.
Taste: Fine and full-bodied, mineral, barely noticeable tannins, subtle and elegant, soft, velvety and persistent. An absolutely engaging wine
PAIRINGS: Goes well with some eggplant parmigiana, fish soup, baked lamb flavored with rosemary and potatoes, game and noble poultry, but can also be served with structured pork, sausages and aged cheeses.
FRUITY: Best served at 18°C (64°F)
VINIFICATION: Sur lies in steel for at least 6 months, followed by light aging in oak and a further period in the bottle.
