Vinification: "Serra del Prete" is a red wine produced with pure Aglianico grapes from vines over 50 years old grown in Vulture. Chemical or synthetic substances are banned in the vineyard and organic farming is practiced. In the winery, no manipulation of any kind is carried out, so all alcoholic fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel containers and the dose of sulfur dioxide added at bottling is extremely low. The liquid ages for 10 months between steel and cement
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Ruby red with intense purple hues
Nose: Rich and complex, with notes of red and black fruit, hints of strawberry, lavender and licorice
Taste: Very rich and structured, savory, endowed with good, savory tannins, with a very long finish
PAIRINGS: Perfect to drink with some game, stewed red meat, risotto and pasta with sauce.
