Vinification: Made with the very traditional "ripasso" method, the wine ages in oak for 12 months, one year in cement tanks and finally rests in the bottle.
Description: Bertani's signature Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC "Catullo" comes from the terraced vineyards of Tenuta Novare in Valpolicella Classica. Typical, full-bodied and with a persuasive aromatic texture, it is a Red not to be missed.

Nose: Typical olfactory profile drawn from the fruity traits of black cherry, wilting violets, undergrowth fungal nuances and basaltic mineral imprint with nutmeg and tanned leather
Taste: Soft and rounded on the sip, it is made inviting by unexpected tartaric verve and firm savory drive. The tannins are well polished and the finish long and rich with consistent varietal returns
PAIRINGS: Excellent with red meats, grilled and roasted, it also goes well with game.
