TASTING NOTES.
Color: Bright iridescent gold
Nose: Immediate hints of smoke, much more than the usual Lagavulin, of charcoal and fragrant peat supported by a background note suggesting sea breeze and mineral hints. Thanks to considerable structure, even with added water, the flavor notes remain intact.
Palate: A silky texture; on entry it is soft then citric notes increase of lemon with a hint of sea salt that adds freshness. In the second line, a slight astringency comes through that releases more peaty and savory hints. A dash of water rounds and sweetens perceptions but it is the smoke that predominates.
