Description: This special edition, Talisker Whisky Parley Wilder Seas Ed, brings with it the intensity and complexity for which Talisker is renowned. This Scotch whisky, aged in French oak barrels that have contained Cognac XO, reveals notes of raisins and cooked figs, accompanied by the delicate, spicy peat typical of the house. This version of Talisker also affirms the distillery's commitment to preserving the seas, in recognition of its marine DNA.

TASTING NOTES.

Color: Deep amber with reddish reflections.

Nose: Sweet and dry aromas emerge on the nose, reminiscent of dried fruits, dates and figs. This is followed by mineral and saline hints, reminiscent of Talisker's maritime heritage, all wrapped in fruity hints and a hint of tobacco.

Palate: The palate attack is unctuous and gives way to an explosion of sweet, then quickly salty, smoky and fruity flavors. Fig notes are enveloped by peppery spices for a harmonious balance.
