Description: This Champagne was born to celebrate great moments of refined gastronomy through pairings that must unfailingly be perfect. It is powerful and of great complexity. It can be enjoyed during tête-à-tête dinners for moments of infinite seduction. It has a unique style and is out of the ordinary: you can decide to enjoy it right away or you can choose to let it rest in the cellar for a few years. Bollinger's Champagne Rosé "La Grande Année" is the result of the meeting of an outstanding vintage Champagne with a red wine from an exceptional parcel. A rarity. Regal.
TASTING NOTES.
Appearance: The perlage is very fine, numerous and persistent.
Color: Elegant salmon pink with orange reflections
Nose: The nose is jaw-dropping, with hints of currants and almonds harmonizing with spicy and roasted nuances. Scents reminiscent of the great Pinot Noirs of Burgundy are evident.
Taste: On the palate it is nothing short of amazing: the vinosity is combined with a very pleasant freshness, and the flavors recall cherry and toast.
PAIRINGS: It is excellent with fish, shellfish and white meats. It also pairs perfectly with game
FRUITY: Serve at 8/10°C
