Description: Lord of Barbès is a very fragrant and high-quality BIO gin produced by the Bercloux distillery, a small artisanal enterprise in Cognac. This gin is made from the infusion of several basic botanicals (such as juniper, cardamom, coriander) to which additional fine botanicals have been added: dried mango, nutmeg, angelica and the so-called Monkey Bread, the fruit of the baobab plant
TASTING NOTES.
Nose: The nose opens with pronounced floral notes, particularly lavender, acacia and honeysuckle, followed by spices such as cardamom, juniper berries
Palate: On the palate the gin is distinguished by a subtle, powerful and surprisingly smooth taste, with hints of baobab fruit balancing bitterness and acidity on the midpalate. The finish brings us back to white flowers, while coriander berries and pepper come to greet the taster
Info: The bottle of Lord of Barbès Gin vaguely echoes the model of apothecary bottles, and the cobalt color of the glass was chosen to protect its contents from the nefarious influence of solar radiation
