Vinification: Destemmed and crushed grapes are fermented. Contact between skins and must lasts for about 30 days. Devatting is kept in tanks in temperate rooms in order to promote malolactic fermentation. Aging: up to 42 months, in Slavonian oak barrels and a portion in French oak barriques

TASTING NOTES.
Color: Intense ruby red
Nose: Aroma of remarkable complexity and intensity with hints of cherry, raspberry, licorice, and balsamic notes
Palate: Full-bodied, with balanced tannins and lively acidity, with long finish of ripe fruit and spice
PAIRINGS: Ideal with aged cheeses, red meats both grilled and stewed, game, wild boar, and spicy beef and pork dishes. It is also appreciated on its own as a meditation wine
