Description: Sparkling wine capable of combining the aromas and structure that only pinot noir can give with the extraordinary freshness and acidity typical of the type. The result is a sparkling wine of great elegance, perfect for any occasion. Berlucchi's '61 Rosé is in fact Franciacorta capable as much of accompanying the most diverse gastronomic preparations as it is of being loved on its own, a perfect aperitif.
TASTING NOTES.
Appearance: Soft, supple mousse with good persistence of a faint crown. Fine, continuous perlage.
Color: Intense pink.
Nose: Elegant notes of berries and ripe fruit, well blended with delicate aromas of yeast and bread crust. Pleasant vinosity, due to the short maceration of Pinot Noir on the skins during vinification.
Taste: Fine and elegant on the palate, with good body and excellent acidity; the medium-high dosage of sugars balances the marked acidity.
PAIRINGS: Excellent as an aperitif, it can pleasantly accompany cured meats and savory first courses and cheeses, including aged cheeses; it enhances its structure when paired with shellfish.
FRUITY: Serve at 6/8°C
