TASTING NOTES.
Color: Amber
Nose: The top notes are sweet and maritime, with hints of molasses and raw sugar,
as opposed to dried seaweed, salt and iodine. Adding water accentuates the fruit and smoke notes with a vanilla finish
Palate: In the mouth it is initially soft, then becomes more intense and finally there is a sweet note along with the pepper flavor. Astringent, dry requires water to make it enveloping and fruity. Long sweet, smoky and spicy finish
Description: An adventurous release of Talisker. The first ever aged in oak barrels
that have previously contained a pot still Caribbean Rum. This passage combined the sea, smoke and pepper aromas typical of this distillery with the dark, exotic sweetness of warmer climates
