Color: Intense golden yellow
Nose: With a nose, typically mineral, revealing notes of spring flowers, a nice freshness with a beautiful intensity
Taste: On the palate, it is complex, with mineral notes that at the same time give evidence of the aromatic and natural richness of the reserve wines. Fresh citrus notes show good acidity with a long finish

THE PRODUCER: The traditionally family-run CHAMPAGNE GARDET maison was founded in Epernay in 1895 by Charles Gardet and later moved in the 1930s by his son Georges to Chigny les Roses, a Premier Cru village in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. With the main objective of constantly developing the value of the brand, the Maison offers wines of irreproachable quality, placing the use of the highest quality grapes at its foundation. This objective and this respect for tradition remain at the heart of the attentions of the Prieux family, current owners and linked to the terroir of origin for several generations. The entire range is vinified in keeping with tradition and only from the cuvées obtained from the "premiers jus" of the pressing. Great attention is paid to the elaboration of the wines, which are left to age on the lees for as long as possible, even well beyond the minimum limits imposed by AOC Champagne. Champagne Gardet remains one of the last Maisons to age some of its reserve wines in oak barrels. All the "savoir faire" of the Maison lies in the precious balance between tradition and modernity that makes evident all the peculiarities of the Gardet style.
