TASTING NOTES.
Color: Deep red with violet hues
Nose: The wine is intense and elegant, rich with notes of black and red fruits, followed by a touch of underbrush, with a finish of spices such as green and black pepper
Taste: In the mouth this wine is rich, complex and powerful, balanced with elegant tannins. The finish is long, spicy
PAIRINGS: Ideal to drink with appetizers and canapés, pasta with tomato sauce, aged cheeses, meat stews and game meat such as venison or wild boar.
FRUITY: Best served at 16°C (61°F)
WINE-MAKING: After fermentation Alessandro dal Borro is racked into barriques of which 75% new and 25% one-year-old, barriques made from the best selections of fine-grained French oak; malolactic fermentation also takes place in barriques, followed by aging on the lees for 6 months; elevage is completed in barriques for 18 months. An exclusive wine, representing the synthesis of culture and terroir, offered in a limited, numbered edition and in a special format
