TASTING NOTES.

Color: Vivid ruby red

Nose: The nose expresses a complex bouquet, with persuasive fragrance of raspberry jam and with hints of scrub rose and ripe black cherry

Palate: Full, soft on the palate, characterized by a certain savoriness and great elegance. It closes with a pleasantly spicy finish, with good persistence

PAIRINGS: For the whole meal, it goes well with roast red meat and medium-aged cheeses. Excellent with a roast pork loin

FRUITY: Best served at 16°C (61°F)

VINIFICATION : Nino Negri's Valtellina Superiore Sassella DOCG "Le Tense" 2011, from only chiavennasca grapes, is a red whose vinification takes place in steel and whose maturation continues partly in large oak barrels and partly in barriques for 16 months. Thus is born a fine and balanced Valtellina Superiore, elegant and harmonious, in the best tradition of the territory
