Vinification: Destemmed and crushed grapes are fermented. The contact between skins and must lasts for about 20 days. Racked is kept in tanks in temperate rooms in order to promote malolactic fermentation. Aged for up to 9 months in Slavonian oak barrels and a portion in French oak barriques. Bottle aging: up to 4 months before release.
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Crisp ruby red
Nose: Intense, enveloping aroma of flowers, spicy notes and mint
Taste: Medium-bodied to well structured, with lively acidity and balanced tannins
PAIRINGS: Ideal with cold cuts and cured meats, with pasta with meat sauce. Also pair with grilled white and red meats. Fantastic with medium-aged cheeses and preparations with mushrooms
