Description: Gurra is the local name used to refer to a small stream that flows into the sea and is one of the elements that most characterize the landscape of this area of Sicily. The very origin of the name gurra, which some refer to Greek, others to Arabic, testifies to the fact that one is in a land that throughout its history has been a meeting point of different worlds and cultures. It is here, not far from Portopalo, in the province of Syracuse, that Tirsat was born, a blend of chardonnay and viogner, the first wine from the Castellare di Castellina group's new winery
