Vinification: The destemmed grapes were vinified in 100 hl stainless steel truncated conical tanks and inoculated with selected yeasts. Fermentation took place at a temperature of 24-27°C with daily punching-down and maceration on the skins for about 14-16 days. Aged for 22 months in 500-liter tonneaux of which 30% new and 70% second-passage

Color: Ruby red
Nose: Complex nose, with hints of iris, violets and sweet woody notes
Taste: Savory in the mouth with excellent acidity, giving this cru character and elegance. Firm finish and aftertaste that brings back the olfactory notes. Great expression of the terroir of the marine deposits of Brolio
PAIRINGS: Try with fresh pasta stuffed with meat, it is also excellent with game and red meat main courses. It is at its best with a tagliata with truffles
