TASTING NOTES.
Color: Intense ruby red
Nose: Prominent notes of cherry and pomegranate on the nose, with complex hints of spice and balsamic notes
Taste: On the palate the wine is sweet, fresh, alcoholic, savory, intense and with a long and pleasant finish, marked by the presence of red fruits
PAIRINGS: With dark chocolate characterized by at least 70% cocoa the red fruit part stands out and the sweetness clashes with the bitterness
FRUITABILITY: To be served at 12/14°C
VINIFICATION: Cantine Pellegrino 1880's Marsala Superiore Rubino Dolce DOC "Uncle Joseph" is made with Nero d'Avola from Marzara del Vallo, grapes a few meters above sea level, strongly influenced by a Mediterranean climate. It is aged in 50 and 20hl Allier oak barrels for more than two years. It is a wine of great pleasantness and good drinkability, it is sweet, but a fresh and savory note veins it making the sip even more pleasant
