TASTING NOTES.

Color: Deep ruby red

Nose: Complex and fine nose, releasing an intense bouquet of roses, sweet spices, small dark fruits and licorice, with mentholated hints

Taste: Fineness and richness of flavor, with stiff tannins, as a great Barolo dictates, and a lively and important acidic texture

PAIRINGS: Enchanting with game stews, roasts, stews and braised beef, Vietti's Barolo Rocche di Castiglione also pairs grandly with important cheeses

FRUITY: Best served at 18°C (64°F)

VINIFICATION : From one of the most important cru in the commune of Castiglione Falletto, Rocche di Castiglione, comes this traditional Barolo from Vietti. 47-year-old vines, 29 days of fermentation with maceration on the skins. Aged 31 months in large oak barrels. Traditional, expressive and magnificent Barolo, will bring out all its beauty as it ages in the cellar
