Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel wine vessels, favoring prolonged contact of the skins with the must. Malolactic fermentation takes place immediately after alcoholic fermentation. Aging is 24 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% one-year-old, and 6 months in bottle.
TASTING NOTES.
Color: Brilliant, very intense garnet red with slight purplish highlights
Nose: Clear, intense, broad nose with notes of small fruits such as blueberry and blackberry, spices such as cinnamon and pepper, and cocoa.
Taste: Full, harmonious, warm palate with lingering, spicy finish
PAIRINGS: Excellent with aged cheeses, goes well with first courses, red meats and game.
FRUITY: Best served at 18/20°C
