TASTING NOTES.
Color: Brilliant golden yellow
Nose: The olfactory profile is elegant and fine, with floral scents, citrus aromas, notes of vanilla, sweet spices, dehydrated apricots, dates, dried fruits and noble woods
Palate: The palate entry is persuasive and soft, with a very harmonious and aromatically broad and rich sip. Fruity aromas mingle with honeyed, oriental spice notes, on a lightly toasted and smoky background
DESCRIPTION: For the distillation process, special "giraffe-neck" stills of more than 5 meters are used, the tallest in all of Scotland, which, thanks to their particular shape, slowly raise the vapors so as to obtain a distillation of rare finesse, with elegant and refined aromas. Glenmorangie is also distinguished by an almost maniacal attention to the choice of woods for aging. As many as 6 types of casks are used to mature the spirits. The 18-year-old Whisky rests for 15 years in barrels previously used for bourbon and 3 years in barrels used to age Oloroso di Jerez wine. A combination that enhances the complexity of aromas and flavors.
