Vinification: Petruna Anfora is made by vinifying 100% Sangiovese grapes and using exclusively terracotta amphorae. The must thus obtained is destined for vinification in amphora, where during fermentation 5-6 manual punching-downs per day are carried out until the complete transformation of sugars into alcohol. At the end of this stage, the amphorae are filled with wine of the same type and closed with a steel lid. The wine inside them will thus remain in contact with the skins for at least 12 months. During this period, the interaction between the terracotta, the wine and the skins allows a characteristic maturation that makes this wine a unique product
